U13 Boys AA

U13AA Boys Division Pool-Based Format Information

The Nova Scotia Soccer League has adopted a two-phase format for the U13AA Boys division to provide meaningful developmental competition for all fourteen (14) teams entered, while establishing the top six (6) teams for Provincial Championships in accordance with the Soccer Nova Scotia Competitions Handbook, Section 4.3.1.1. In alignment with Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards, no scores or standings will be recorded at the U13 age group during the regular season. Competitive standings will only apply during the pool play phase used to determine Provincial qualification, in accordance with the 2026 NSSL Summer Handbook (Section 6.6 - Removal of scores and standings at U13 divisions).

Phase 1 - Regular Season (Single Round Robin - 13 games):

All fourteen (14) teams play every other team once, for a total of thirteen (13) games per team. The focus is on developmental play, exposure to a wide range of opponents, and balanced competition across the division.

Phase 2 - Pool Play (Single Round Robin - 6 games):

From August 1st, the division is split into two pools of seven (7) teams. Each team plays every other team in their pool once, for a total of six (6) pool games, to be completed between August 1st and August 30th.
