The Nova Scotia Soccer League has adopted a pool-based competition format for the U15 Boys AAA division to accommodate the eleven (11) teams entered and to provide as much meaningful competition as possible while managing travel and scheduling across the province. The format splits the ten (10) Nova Scotia teams into two regional pools, with crossover games between pools and one neutral game against PEI. All Nova Scotia teams play a 14-game regular season.
Pool Play (Double Round Robin - 8 games):
The ten (10) Nova Scotia teams are divided into two pools of five (5) teams. Each team plays every other team in their pool twice for a total of eight (8) pool games.
Pool A:
Inter Halifax 15AAA Boys
Suburban FC U15 Academy Boys (White)
Hotspurs Storm U15AAA
Dunbrack U15AAA Boys
CAPERS Academy U15AAA Boys
Pool B:
VU U15AAA Boys
Inter Halifax 15AAA Boys Development
Suburban FC U15 Academy Boys (Black)
UDFC U15AAA Boys
Halifax County United U15AAA Boys
Crossover Games (Single Round Robin - 5 games):
Each team plays every team in the opposite pool once, for a total of five (5) crossover games.
Neutral Game vs PEI (1 game):
Each Nova Scotia team plays one (1) game against 2026 PEIFC U15 Men at a neutral venue (this will likely take place at Mount Allison University, Alumni Field, Antigonish Central or St Francis Xavier University).
Season Summary:
8 pool games (double round robin vs own pool) + 5 crossover games (single round robin vs opposite pool) + 1 neutral game (vs PEI) = 14 games per team.
Standings & Provincial Qualification:
All games count toward one combined divisional standings table. Standings are subject to the NSSL Handbook - the top four (4) teams qualify for Provincial Championships.
Notes:
Games with unconfirmed fields and/or times will display a game time of 11:59pm and an anticipated field. When confirmed, teams will receive an automated notice with the confirmed location and time.
